Biography

Andrey Stankevich is an associate professor at ITMO's Information Technologies and Programming Faculty, a laureate of the President of the Russian Federation Award in Education, a laureate of ACM-ICPC Founder’s Award 2004, and ACM ICPC Senior Coach Award 2016.

He graduated from the School № 64 in St. Petersburg. In 1998, he entered ITMO University, from which he graduated in 2004. During his studies at the university, he took part in many international programming competitions.

In 2004, he started his career at ITMO University as an assistant. In 2007, he became a senior lecturer, and in 2008, he was assigned to the position of an associate professor.

Mr. Stankevich takes an active part in organizing programming competitions for students from St. Petersburg and other Russian cities. He is also a coach of St. Petersburg programming team.
