ITMO University has introduced the Higher School of Digital Culture to implement a vision of digital culture. Its key competencies include the understanding of fundamentals and prospects of IT, as well as the ability to apply digital technologies to tackle professional challenges and provide a friendly digital environment. Starting from the 2018-2019 academic year, all students have been studying digital culture in a blended format. The well-designed program allows Bachelor’s and Master’s students to acquire competencies in the digital economy regardless of their major.
The Higher School of Digital Culture is responsible for the development and implementation of digital culture disciplines in the Bachelor and Master programs. It is engaged in the design of the module’s concepts and programs, content for online courses and their support, face-to-face consultations and testing, examination and certification of students in the disciplines of the module, etc.
