ITMO University has introduced the Higher School of Digital Culture to implement its own concept of digital culture. Its key competencies include the understanding of fundamentals and prospects of IT, as well as the ability to apply digital technologies to tackle professional challenges and provide a friendly digital environment. Starting from the 2018-2019 academic year, all students have been studying digital culture in a blended format.
