The Faculty of Technological Management and Innovations (#itmotech) was established on February 9, 2015, following the merger of three Faculties: the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Economics and Environmental Management and the Corporate Faculty.
The Faculty of Technological Management and Innovations focuses on training highly qualified managers in the field of hi-tech and innovation and providing unique knowledge and expertise at the forefront of science and technology. These areas, critically important for the Russian economy, require experienced specialists for the development of innovations. The Faculty’s programs concentrate on inter-disciplinary studies and are specially designed to form the next generation of industrial global leaders.
The education and training processes of the Faculty are practice-oriented and include the cooperation with partners from the business community, government bodies and public organizations. The core objective is to integrate fundamental education with practical skills of innovations' commercialization including experience in starting up new businesses in the hi-tech sphere.
The Faculty offers such courses as:
- strategic management;
- industrial management and technology transfer;
- entrepreneurship in hi-tech;
- management of innovations, among others.
