The program is focused: for applicants with an applicable bachelor's degree, fluent in English and planning a future career in high-tech international companies, both in Russia and abroad.
Results:
The program is a master’s degree one in the field of photonics and nanosciences. The main objective of the Course is to combine the study and research in one process using the possibilities that are open through international cooperation. The Master's program includes nowadays physical and engineer disciplines, such as Photonics, Nanotechnology, Optoinformatics, Microfabrication, Practical use of Nanostructures etc., studied at two universities. Much attention is paid to research and hands-on work of students.Scientific and educational laboratories with new research and technological equipment allow to get a good practical training.
Teaching staff: ITMO professors and associate professors and professors of foreign partner universities (Aalto University, Finland)
Length of program: 2 years (4 semesters), including 2 semesters at partner University.
