Sports at ITMO

KronBars

Here at ITMO, we don’t have boring PE classes. What we have instead is KronBars – a student sports club that brings together all sports enthusiasts at ITMO University.

KronBars is a five-time winner of Russia’s top student sports clubs competition that offers cultural and educational events, stipends for current and prospective students, including in esports, sports sections and university teams, and a welcoming community of like-minded people.

The club's mascot is Tim the Snow Leopard; he is a regular at club-organized events and appears on the club’s uniforms and merch.

KronBars provides full-coverage scholarships to prospective students, as well as one-time payments and monthly stipends to university athletes with exceptional sports achievements. Learn more about the club’s opportunities and requirements here.

KronBars x be ITMO also hold a variety of events for students and staff alike, including annual competitions, corporate tournaments, and more.
