About program

The program trains specialists in software development for chemical technology, biotechnology, chemistry, and corresponding interdisciplinary fields. It equips students with advanced IT skills needed to perform all the steps of software development, including approbation, setup, modernization, and adaptation. During their studies, students deal with robotized systems, big data processing, computational chemistry, modern IT tools for data processing, blockchain, as well as VR and AI tools, including machine learning models.

The program offers students to work on individual and group projects based on industrial and laboratory tasks and challenges and apply their skills using laboratory and industrial equipment.

Infochemistry Scholarship Program gives an opportunity to receive a one-off payment for articles published during the period of studies. Requirements are the first authority and impact factor of the journal more than 10. To apply, students need to submit an application with an article, CV, and motivation letter. 

 

FAQ

Can I get a job while studying at the university? 

  • Yes, you can opt to study online.

What if I am not interested in industrial projects?

  • You can always choose to work on a laboratory project instead of an industrial one.

Can I apply if I have no experience in IT?

  • You can apply even if you have no IT background. During your first semester, you will learn all about the fundamentals of IT.

I do not speak Russian. Will it be difficult for me to collaborate with Russian students?

  • The program requires the upper-intermediate level of English so all of our students are fluent in English. Besides, the older colleagues always can help you in communication.

What if my PC is not powerful enough to conduct difficult chemical calculations or set up software?

  • Our department provides PCs for the educational process if it is needed. There is an opportunity to use a supercomputer cluster remotely.
