Program description
We aim to train a new generation of specialists capable of developing and applying bioinformatics methods to solve unconventional tasks in the field of fundamental and experimental biology.
The program welcomes students with a background in both biology and computer science:
-
Students with a biological background will learn how and when to deploy computational and statistical methods or modify them to analyze data;
-
Students with a computational background will be able to develop novel and applied methods in computational biology.
Importantly, we also teach our students how to communicate and understand each other, as well as integrate and apply experimental and computational methods in life sciences.
Our students will have an opportunity to:
-
work on real-world research projects starting the first semester;
-
learn from a young team of practicing researchers from Russia and abroad;
-
do an internship and take part in a semester exchange program at research institutes in Europe and the US;
-
study in a multicultural environment, etc.
