Alexandra Klimova

Biography

Education

2007 – graduated with honors from Kurgan State University with a degree in engineering;

2011 – earned a PhD degree in engineering (specialization: wheeled and tracked vehicles).

Advanced training

2014 – Presidential Initiative in Norway Training Programme (Oslo, Norway).

Career

2011-present – joined ITMO University;

2007-2009 – a design engineer, JSC Design Bureau for Special Machine-Building.

Research

Alexandra Klimova took an active part in organizing and coordinating international research and educational projects as part of the Erasmus Mundus, ENPI CBC, Tempus, and other programs. 

Her research interests include the internationalization of higher education, sustainable development, and project management. 

Taught courses

  • Project Organization and Management in Computer Photonics;

  • International Cooperation in Photonics.

Awards

2009 – Presidential Scholarship for Studying Abroad (Glasgow Caledonian University, UK);

2008 – the first-degree diploma and medal of the organizing committee for victory in the category Mechanical Engineering for Special Purposes at the national conference of young scientists and specialists The Future of Machinery in Russia, the Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
