Danil Zakoldaev is the Dean of the Faculty of Secure Information Technologies.
Education and career
From 1997 till 2002, Danil Zakoldaev studied at ITMO University. In 2012, he defended his PhD thesis.
In 2013, he did an internship at the IBM corporation in Israel. Apart from that, he received additional education in ‘State and municipal management’.
In 2016, he was appointed as an associate professor.
Danil Zakoldaev is the author of over 50 publications, including 25 research articles, and five work books. He has participated in a range of research projects, including the ones aimed at the development and implementation of automation systems at such companies as Gazprom, MTS, and the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation. His research interests include computer-aided design, Big Data, digital production security, information security, and information technologies in education.
