Biography
Konstantin Chikov began his career in 1964 as the head of the laboratory at the Leningrad Institute of Fine Mechanics and Optics (LITMO, the former name of ITMO University). He earned his PhD in 1971 and was awarded the title of Senior Research Associate in December 1974 and Associate Professor in 1977.
Konstantin Chikov is a supervisor of the team Kosspektr. For the past 25 years, he has been developing flight instrument systems. He authored 120 works, including 17 invention certificates and 3 patents. Additionally, he is a co-author of 3 monographs and 9 educational and methodological works.
Konstantin Chikov has been teaching since 1965, for which he was awarded a badge from the USSR Ministry of Higher Education for his contributions to the field, the title “Honorary Worker of the Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation,” and the medal “In Memory of the 300th Anniversary of St. Petersburg” (2004). Currently, he teaches students at the School of Computer Technologies and Control.
