Biography

Maria Marusina is a graduate of St. Petersburg State University (1988), PhD in engineering (1993), an associate professor (2002), DSc in engineering (2006), and a professor (2007). 

She is an author of over 70 scientific works. 

Among Prof. Maria Marusina’s research interests are modern group analysis, group-theoretic methods for the synthesis of measuring systems, metrology, and tomography. She delivers courses in physical foundations of data collection, metrology, standardization, and certification, and mathematical foundations of the synthesis of measurement systems. 

In September 2008, Maria Marusina was elected an academic secretary to ITMO University’s Academic Degree Council.
