Biography

Galina Romanova earned a degree in laser devices and technologies from ITMO University in 2011. She wrote a thesis on the formation of multicolor images on steel surfaces using laser oxidation. She won the award for the best graduation paper at ITMO in 2011.

In 2011, Galina Odintsova began her PhD at ITMO’s Institute of Laser Technologies. She specialized in optical and optical and electronic devices and complexes. For her thesis, she studied changes in the optical properties of steel surfaces under the influence of lasers. 

Career

Since July 2011 – an assistant at ITMO’s Institute of Laser Technologies, partaking in its research activities;

Since May 2011 – a project manager at ITMO’s Faculty of Physical Engineering;

October 2010 – July 2011 – an engineer at ITMO’s Institute of Laser Technologies;

March 2010 – June 2010 – an intern at the non-food procurement office at Filip Morris Izhora;

February 2010 – March 2010 – an intern at the administrative department at Filip Morris Izhora;

September 2009 – January 2010 – the head of the department of advertising and marketing at Servis Produkt;

February 2008 – November 2008 – an advertising manager at Servis Produkt.

Laser technologies, laser-matter interactions, and laser induction.
