Biography

In 2007, Vladlena Serebryakova graduated with honors from St. Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics with a degree in Physics and Optical Communication Engineering. Since 2007 she has been working at the ITMO University at the Department of Optical Communications and Measuring Systems, in 2011 she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Physics and Mathematics, specialty "Optics". In 2010 she was appointed Advisor to a Vice Rector, in 2011 she was appointed Deputy Director of the Department for Work with High-tech industries, from May 2012 to the present time she is working as an advisor to the Rector for working with high-tech industries. 

Since 2010, Dr. Serebryakova has initiated and accompanied joint research, development and educational projects. 

In 2010 and 2012, under the supervision of V.S. Serebryakova, 25 joint applications were prepared for competitions on the creation of high-tech industries held by the Ministry of Education and Science in order to ensure cooperation between organizations of the real sector of the economy and higher educational institutions.

In 2013 she was a winner of the St. Petersburg Government Award for outstanding achievements in the field of higher and secondary professional education in the field of integration of education, science and industry.

Vladlena Serebryakova is a multiple winner and permanent participant of the grants competition for young scientists and young candidates of science of universities and academic institutions located in St. Petersburg, she is a winner of the grants competition for young scientific and pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions in St. Petersburg and a winner of the ITMO University competition "Scientist of the Year 2011".

Research interests:

Integrated optics, physical and mathematical modeling of physical processes, design activity, innovation.
