Biography
Mikhail Fedosovsky graduated from Leningrad Institute of Technology in 1983. Since 1990 he’s been the head of "Diakont" CJSC.
Dr. Fedosovsky is the initiator and the head of ITMO University’s Department “Systems and Technologies of Tech Security” at the Faculty of Technological Management and Innovations in collaboration with “Diakont.”
Professor Fedosovsky academic interests include probabilistic safety analysis, safety and security arrangements of industrial objects. Mr. Fedosovsky is an author of more than 30 academic papers, including 10 patents in Russia and other Europe and Asia countries.
Over the years of collaboration with ITMO University, “Diakont” has become one of Russia’s top high tech companies. It’s focusing on manufacturing of innovative and high-technology equipment for diagnostics and repairs of hard-to-reach and dangerous objects at nuclear plants and oil pipelines now used at over 20 power plants and other facilities in Europe, Asia and the US.
Professor Fedosovsky is a laureate of Russian Government Award in Science and Engineering (2009).
