Biography

Education

Mr. Zlenko got a degree in software for automated information systems and computer engineering in 2004 and optoelectronic devices and systems in 2010 at ITMO University.

He also took further professional development courses in fundamentals of social entrepreneurship in 2014, organization of purchases of goods, works, and services by certain types of legal entities in 2016 and evaluating the effectiveness of volunteer activities in 2017.

Professional activity

Mr. Zlenko started his career as a Chairman of the Student Council at ITMO University in 2007. From 2008 until 2010 he taught “information technology cycle”.

From 2010 until 2013 he was the deputy dean for educational work and a head of the training unit for junior courses from 2011 until 2013.

In 2013 Mr. Zlenko became a deputy Chairman of the Students Union Committee and in 2014 a Chairman of the students and postgraduates union.

In 2015, he became the Head of the Strategic Initiatives Support Department at ITMO University.

In 2020 Mr. Zlenko became a director of the Faculty of Secondary Vocational Education

Professional interests

• implementation of project activities into the student environment, including support for students in project development;

• development of student voluntary initiatives;

• social work with students, protection of student rights;

• fundraising activities of student projects;

• mentoring student groups, soft skills training, building an individual development track;

• development and implementation of short-term educational modules (including international ones) on project management, volunteering and social design

• gamification in education (developed and implemented 5 business games at the request of young people) 

• organization of interaction of ITMO University’s student sector with companies, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations
