Biography

Elena Ivanchenko earned an honors degree in public relations from St. Petersburg State University in 2013. During her student years, she managed numerous federal youth projects, acted as the deputy chair of the student media of the Russian Association of Public Relations, and worked at the PR department of the Faculty of Journalism at St. Petersburg State University, where she organized and curated major faculty projects and interacted with partners, as well as representatives of media and state authorities. 

Upon graduation, Elena Ivanchenko found employment at the communications and social programs department of Bank Saint Petersburg. Her duties were to promote the HR brand, form the corporate culture, run internal studies, organize events, and engage in SMM.

In 2014, Elena Ivanchenko joined ITMO University’s Strategic Communications Department and two years later, she headed the Office for Event Planning (Office for Brand Events since March 2017). As the head of the office, she ran major brand, popular science, and educational events, forums, federal and international conferences, and advertising campaigns. In 2021, Elena Ivanchenko was appointed the head of ITMO University’s PR Department.

Awards

Elena Ivanchenko and her teammates won the Grand Prix of the National PR Award Silver Archer. She is also a finalist of the PROBA IPRA GWA and White Wing competitions.
