    PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

    The program includes several specializations.

    1. Intelligent Robotics

Designed for English-speaking students, the specialization offers various courses. Students can create their own learning tracks by choosing certain disciplines from the list and become researchers or developers in the field of hardware design or robot programming. All courses are conducted in English.

           2. Mechatronic Systems and Technologies

The specialization offers a double-degree option with the Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland. Its key focus lies in the fields of computer design systems, simulation modeling, and control of mechatronic complexes.

           3. Biomechatronics

The specialization offers a double-degree option with Tallinn University of Technology in Estonia. The program pays special attention to systems for sensing, controlling, transferring, and processing information for biomechatronic systems, including smart prostheses and orthoses, as well as distributed robotic systems and Internet of Things devices.

    PROGRAM RELEVANCE

Active introduction of robotic systems in industry and research calls for highly qualified specialists in the field of their design, manufacturing, and operation. The program's range of subjects ensures that its students acquire the competencies essential for working in the field. Modern mobile and industrial robots, unmanned aerial vehicles, and submarines are highly complex systems that consist of mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and software components. The program's graduates will always be sought-after in production and by research laboratories that specialize in the development of dedicated equipment and software, conducting research for improving such systems and their technical properties.
