The Advanced Quantum and Nanophotonic Systems program offers multiple specializations for Master’s students. Students can choose to pursue their studies in Quantum Materials, Nanophotonics and Metamaterials, Hybrid Materials, or Computer Modeling of Quantum and Nanophotonic Systems.
By the end of the program, students will be able to conduct comprehensive research on both theoretical and practical levels, apply their practical skills to synthesize and fabricate micro- and nanomaterials, as well as master mathematical modeling (CST and Comsol), programming languages (Python, Matlab, C++, etc.), and soft skills.
The study of light-matter interactions at incredibly small scales, known as nanoscales, is a continuously growing field, with an increasing potential for fundamental discoveries and breakthrough technologies. Solar cells, LEDs, optical transistors, and targeted drug delivery – these are just a small part of all the areas that are looking to apply innovative solutions in both research and industrial applications.
