2001 – a Master’s degree with honors in applied physics of solid bodies, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University;
2004 – a PhD degree in physics of semiconductors, Ioffe Institute;
2021 – a DSc in engineering, ITMO University.

2021-present – the deputy head of the Institute of Advanced Data Transfer Systems, ITMO University;

Professional interests
Semiconductor heterostructures, semiconductor lasers, quantum dots, vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers, quantum cascade lasers, photodetectors, optical data transmission, and quantum photonic devices.

2009 – Medal of the International Alferov's Foundation for Support of Education and Science for the best research in natural sciences for young scientists (under 33 year old) in the category Nanomaterials;
2006-2007 – Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Scholarship;
2005 and 2007 – Grants of the President of the Russian Federation for young scientists;
2005 – Medal of the Russian Academy of Sciences for young scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other institutions and organizations in the category General Physics and Astronomy;
2003 – Academia Europaea Medal for young scientists in the category Physics;
